Ayurveda describes three doshas — Vata, Pitta and Kapha — as the basic patterns of energy moving through every person. They are a traditional way of noticing tendencies: how you move, digest, sleep, and respond to stress.
Everyone holds all three; what differs is the proportion. One or two usually lead, giving you your particular rhythm. This is a lens for self-understanding, not a box or a diagnosis.
Vata governs movement, Pitta governs transformation, and Kapha governs structure. Learning their qualities helps you notice when you feel balanced — and what gently brings you back when you don't.
